THE THINGS WE DO...

Westlake Village Newcomers Activity Groups offer members the opportunity to socialize with one another, learn more about our community, and simply have fun! Monthly Coffees give you a chance to meet others in a casual setting. There are evening Social events for members and their spouses or guests and Wine Tastings; also athletic activities like Saturday Hiking, Neighborhood Walkers, Tennis, and Westlake Walkers; cultural activities Bookworms, Art Discovery, Out to Explore, Garden Lovers; and activities which are just plain fun: Westlake Train, Girls Night Out, Popcorn Munchers, Out to Lunch, Games People Play, Bridge and "Care to Join Me?"

For current Group activities, members can check out each Group's Events listing and contact the Activity Group Leader listed on the Group's individual page to be added to that group's interest list.

WHO are Westlake Village Newcomers?

• People new to the greater Westlake area and anyone wishing to make new friends!
• Our membership territority includes residents in the 91361 (City of Westlake Village), 91362 (North Ranch & Thousand Oaks East), and 91377 (Oak Park) zip codes.
• We are a non-profit social activities club supported by our membership dues and special occasion activity fees.

WHAT do you do?

• Westlake Village Newcomers Club is organized around the principle of Friendship Through Participation ~ getting to know others while having fun!
• We provide a variety of interest group and social activities each month from which our members can "pick and choose." See our varied Interest Groups above for ideas.

HOW MUCH does membership in the Club cost?

• Club membership dues are $35 per individual or couple for a one-year membership. This includes free access to our member website and a calendar of each month's activities.

REMINDER - Our May Coffee is the annual potluck luncheon. Please

check the Monthly Coffee announcement under "Events" to see what food item you'll bring and RSVP so we can get a good headcount for our lovely Hostess, Gail Warekois. Also, if you have not already purchased your June installation lunch, please bring along your checkbook as our Treasurer, Leslie will be collecting your checks.

The installation luncheon at Boccaccio's is our finale of the season and is a very special time for all our members to share the memories and raise their glasses to toast the new Officers and welcome our newest members.
